  • Rear Auxiliary power socket failure

    In my 90 series Prado my rear cig aux power plug crapped itself I cannot get power out of it I checked all fuses in under dash panel and small fuses under bonet all are ok I then pulled out socket from rear panel detached blue and white wire and on socket black and white no power as t all is there a seperate fuse link somewhere ?

        So did my old 98 prado.
        I had run a battery pack in rear with its charger. well the charger crapped itself and burnt out the earth wiring right back to the harness connection in left footwell. earth wire was burnt between each connection point. Toyota replace each section by soldering in new wire. Found it because the socket stopped working and fuel senders played up.

          Those silly little yellow 20amp fuses under the bonnet that say power one for front one for rear blow easily changing the fuse will fix the problem
