Nothing wrong with 90s!! This is mine. Goes everywhere! Got any pics of your tablet setup? Was thinking about mounting it onto the passenger jesus bar

My tablet sits about midway on the dash and is attached to the windscreen with a RAM mount. Resting it on the dash helps hold it in place and from my seated position only obscures part of the bull bar. Photos arent the best, but hopefully gives you some idea of my setup.

Has anyone got an opinion if the Hema app is better on the ipad or Android tablets?

I have both with data, just tossing up which to use.

First time posting so a little slow. I don't know much about the app side of things but in my search came across a device called "Bad Elf" which plugs into the lightning socket of your i-pad. It gives you satalite nav capabilities when there is no signal from phone towers. Has anyone used one , how have they found it. Still need to download 4xwheel drive app for maps

Just a quick one, if you have a Wifi + cellular ipad you will not need one as the ipad doesn't need a phone tower to pick up a satellite signal. They have a built in receiver that doesn't rely on phone towers and can be used as a gps anywhere.

Noobie here. Looking at updating gps maps for 150 series [it has an inbuilt multimedia unit]. Map updates can be bought for about $295, but am wondering whether there's a less expensive work around or hack that members have found to work in the installed unit. Thanks
