Haven’t used it in this context, but know it is used quite a bit by first responders for mass crowd movement events eg music festivals, as it’s an easy gps specific communication over radio in loud environments without having to spit out a lot of numbers, or hope a paramedic can find someone by eyesight in a mosh pit

Can also be good when calling 000 when remote, as getting a Lat/Long can sometimes be problematic when users struggle with numbers and decimals or minutes/seconds . Words are often an easier get.
