With the old SB112 I could flick a switch and use the second battery to start the car if the cranking battery was dead. Since removing that and replacing with a BCDC1225 (12V 25A) I have lost that ability.Originally posted by 120D4D View PostWhat do you mean about configuring the battery switch Rob?Bitumen: A blatant waste of taxpayers money!

Ahh, and considering you have the AUX in the rear you'd need an additional (and hefty) cable with manual switch to have that option back.
Might I suggest packing jumper leads and simply moving the AUX if you ever get stuck...Cheers
Micheal.

I guess. I could make some very long cables with 3B&S.Originally posted by 120D4D View PostAhh, and considering you have the AUX in the rear you'd need an additional (and hefty) cable with manual switch to have that option back.

Got myself a Fobo tyre pressure management unit which operates on your iPhone etc. Went the complete set to cover the car and camper and 2 spares.
Also got T valves so i don't have to keep removing them:

Try one of these switches Rob , it's what I use on my 200 for that purpose as well as to choose which battery feeds the rear Anderson plugOriginally posted by MidLifeCrisis View Post

What Iv done on my hilux is Iv connected the blue trigger wire onto the aux terminal and then connected the earth to the switch. So basically the unit won't work at all until the switch is turned on and hence earthing the sbi12 to connect for jump starting. When the switch is off the SBI12 is off which allow the dcdc charger to do its job on the aux battery then.Originally posted by MidLifeCrisis View Post
