That looks good Andrew - out of curiosity, why the fake bolt heads at the top? Could you not have four holes and real bolts top and bottom?

    • Thought that there were only 2 mounting points for the hawse. Haven't seen a bar in the flesh yet. Have been trying to get an oppurtunity to stalk one in the car park in my travels.

      • Normally there are only two mounting points used for the Hawse, the winch itself is mounted with four bolts with the bottom two doubling up to also mount the Hawse. It's just with your CAD drawing showing two dummy heads you could make it high enough to actually use all four winch mounting points with the Hawse as well.

I don't have any photo's showing the whole front so I went out to the front of the office to take a better photo - I got half way there before I remembered I rode the bike in today

        • I see. All good. I'll change the drawings when I get the dimensions.

The dimensions for the mounting holes are 10" x 4.5" (254 mm x 114.3 mm).

No worries, those figures seem to be standard across all winches.

                • The critical issue is the slot height from the base.

Astecically the front face should be thicker at the top to match the ARB bar design.

I will get some measurements and pics to you.

                  Cheers
