Had a wheel alignment today. All sweet according to mechanic, lift is fine. Better this all the caster issues I had with my lifted 120 !!

Just did 5000km oil change. Everything looking clean as a whistle. Fresh Castrol Magnatec and fresh Toyota filter plus sump plug gasket every 5000km, no matter what.

First refill since EGR plate was fitted. Driving same roads and same style too and from work, saved 0.5 litre per 100km on the first refill. Going to swap out K&N air filter for my foam finer filter on the weekend, as the access road at my work it getting pretty dusty.

Just washed out, oiled up and fitted my finer foam panel filter. Keen to see how she goes now, still sounds great thru my snorkel . Checked engine oil again, after 650km it's as clean as the day put it in the engine. EGR blank plate must be making a big difference.

I do a 145km return trip to work on country back roads. Mix of hills and flat with millions of kangaroos about and running in front of cars every morning. Was averaging approx. 11/100km traveling to work, since I fitted EGR restrictor, started to track fuel burn coming to work. Here are the results so Far ....

The tough dog is total garbage. Failed the rears completely, I reckon they died about 25,000km work. The front shocks are still ok at 40,000km and the front springs were decent, but way under rated in terms of coil strength, for the 150. I can't now understand why the hell any supplier sells 660in/lb coils for the front of a 150. These rating coils were the same pressure I ran in my last V6 120. The bilstens are brilliant as usual. Hey that reminds me, I'm going to retorque the lower shock mount bolts again, after I write this. It's vital they are checked three or four times after you fit front struts. Also the tough dog lower mount bushes died at 40,000km as well. Go the Kings and Bilsteins !!

Looks very familiar... Mine at least lasted for 60000kms.

Changed out crappy wetseat front seat covers on weekend with a pair of super trim covers. 500% better quality and fit much, much better.

Bugger me 16,000 views in four weeks !

Carried out full 80,000km service at home in the shed today. Zero issues with front differential oil drain plug thankfully, rear fill plug wasn't real flash and I've bought a few new plugs today off fleabay. Decided to ditch the front bump stops I've fitted from monster rides as I don't think they are needed for a two inch lift and I think they are effecting the action of the front shocks. Overall a fun day in the shed and it all went well.

Not happy with Toyota buggering my rear diff fill plug. It was a mongrel to remove last weekend. 5 mins on eBay and 10 mins under the car, my problem is now solved ..
