      Nice Mate. Have you got pics of how the car is now with the Fox shocks ? And has the exhaust made any difference being dpf back ?

        Thanks Gurilla, Ill get a picture up soon with the lift, needs bigger tires to look right though. The exhaust made a very slight change in noise but the car is more responsive. Not mind blowing but its the start of a list of power increases I have planed.

          Prado after Fox 2.0 and Kings lift

          Front height from bottom of rim to bottom of guard: 815mm

          Rear height from bottom of rim to bottom of guard fuel tank almost empty: 840mm

          Rear height from bottom of rim to bottom of guard fuel tank full: 830mm

              Nice mate are they not remote res shocks ? How is the ride ? Did the valve them for you or. Are they just the valving preset for a prado ?

              brother in-law has kings shocks on his cruiser I’ve been in it on rode it’s comfy havnt been in it off-road though but they had there baby in the back when going 4x4 and she seemed fine ? But I still can’t justify the pricing.. think I might just for bilstiens they seems to be tested and proven from many prado owners

              shame the exhaust doesn’t make much more sounds thought maybe hear the turbo more ? I rather the sound of the turbo on the 3l then the 2.8 doesn’t even sound like your driving a turbo diesel.. I’ve had a few little turbo flutters going up dunes and then taking door off the pedal at the top but that’s it

                Looks a bit too high in the front mate. I guess a bar, lights, bash plates etc. will bring it down a bit.

                  Gurilla, they are not remote res front or rear. I filled in a bunch of questions in regards to the car set up and the valves were made to suit. If money was no object I would have gone full kings but they are super expensive. Bilstiens are great shocks. I went with Fox because Toyota Racing Development (TRD) have switched from Bilstiens to Fox. They are a bit soft on road however great off road. I used to run “The Ultimate Suspension” in my Hilux and they were great on road however a little stiff off road. If you don’t want to do any thinking about it go with the tried and tested stuff from others on here.

                  My 3l Hilux ran a 3” inch turbo back exhaust with no muffler, 4” inch stainless snorkel and K&N filter, you could definitely hear that turbo work.
                  If you want to really hear your turbo, fit the above parts remove the DPF and get it remapped. Removing the DPF does upset some people though.

                    Juz, thanks for the feedback mate. Do you mean high in the front compared to the back? Or just high in the front in general? I know everything about Hilux’s but not much about Prado’s. thanks in advance.

                      For a 2 inch lift, you want the front to sit around 790-800mm.

                        Cheers mate. The front struts are adjustable so it might just need to be adjusted down a bit. I told the installer that with a full tank of fuel I want the front and rear to be only around 20mm difference. He didn’t tell me that he had any issues with the wheel alinement. I have not seen any unusual tyre wear but the suspension has only been on the for about 10,000ks
                        ill do some research and keep an eye on it. Thanks again.

                          Hey Mate,

                          thank for posting.

                          Wich Oil Catch Can did you install? Do you have maybe a picture from the install spot? I have a little trouble fitting my Westernfilters Kit but maybe the European GDJ engine is a little different. So it would be very nice if you can make a picture.

                              How many km on your car ? Have you drained it yet ?

                              i really want to do this to my car.. but I’m afraid if anything happens and Toyota tries to blame the catch can or secondary fuel filter and refuse a warranty claim
