Thought I would post some height measurements between my new and old Prado.

Factory suspension height I believe is:
    • Front: 765
    • Rear: 780

My old 150 was a 2010 GXL with 9 year old standard suspension with aluminium bullbar, aux battery and 3rd row of seats removed:
    • Front: 750
    • Rear: 790

My new 150 is a 2019 GX with a Ironman Foamcell Pro lift kit, steel bullbar, steel sidesteps and aux battery:
    • Front: 810 (+45mm over standard)
    • Rear: 850 (+70mm over standard)

    Other measurements are:
    • Pioneer platform: max height went from 192cm to 201cm (+9cm, still fits in 2m carparks)
    • Snorkel: height went from 179cm to 185cm (+6cm)
(The car is also running 265/70 now with accounts for 13mm extra height of these)

What’s the height with the lift and tires from the ground where the rear is to the roof only/bottem of rack where sits on roof

wondering if I can fit my car in garage with lift and tires

i currently have 120mm of clearance from standard roof rails “gxl”

Hi Daza, Nice build so far. I don't suppose you could show me a photo of the roof rail blanking plates that were on your car before the roof rack went on?
I am trying to source the parts to delete my factory roof rails from my GXL and the Toyota Parts Department are just useless.

        Cheers mate.

          That would be 190cm.

Legend, thanks mate. Are the plastic blanks exactly the same from the other side? There seems to be some confusion with blanks being "left" and "right" at my local dealership.

              Thanks again.

Hi Woza, did you buy the Ironman 2" lift with foam cell shocks? I have that on my 150 series, with 33" Falken MTs, BUT I find the body roll a bit much on the freeway. Awesome offroad. What tires are you running?? thanks

Recently completed a 10,500km trip which included about 3,500km of dirt roads. Before the trip the car only had about 8,000km on it and the factory air filter was pristine, top and bottom. Thought I would share pics after the trip. I found the topside of the filter still very clean, and barely different from before the trip. There was no noticeable dusting on the inside of the airbox lid. I do put a thin lay of red rubber grease on the filter seal, seems like it's working.

The recent 10,500km trip took us from Perth - Darwin - Alice Springs - Perth. 4 weeks was just a taster, I could happy go for another 8 weeks to drive all the tracks we had to miss.

Few pics added to an album here:

If your time is short then here's a video of a dusty & steep creek crossing in the Finke River Gorge National Park, near Boggy Hole, plus a couple of others below.

Car performed brilliantly, nothing worse than a couple of things working loose from the corrugations.

Hey mate, would you be interested in swapping the black inserts on your grill for my GXL chrome ones? I’ll pay postage both ways.

Not really I'm afraid, I like the black grill, goes with the black & white theme for the whole car!
