Cars booked in Tuesday for new rubber 265/70/17 gone for Falken wildpeak at3w
father in-law has these on his prado and they seem like decent tires and by research they are really good and underrated and a lot of
people have swapped from bfg to them
and are more then happy and little cheaper too..
they currently have buy 4 get 1 free so I got 5 price of 4..

Mine came with KO2s on it, no complaints here, thought they would be noiser with that tread pattern bu seem fine. Are you currently running BFGs?
Be keen to hear your thoughts if so as I had considered what extra range I might get if I was on some milder tyres.Comment

No I’m just running stockies Dunlop’s at22 or whatever they are in 265/65 so this will be a inch increase in size and biggest size you can fit on a prado with out a lift and different offset rims, next size would be 285/70 but with fj cruiser rims or other offset 10+ I think you can get in sunnies
but this size is a all round the 265 70 should be fine and little extra clearance
my old disco had a 2 inch lift and 265 75 16 and it literally went anywhere and had no issuesComment

There’s heaps of threads on here about it, I wouldn’t say there the flashes looking rims though the fj crusier, but think it’s dynamic make a 10+ Sunnie I was reading somewhere ??Comment

All the rims I've sene that I like are many thousands and I just can't justify it amid the house projects, race car, other mods I want for the prado etc.

New rubber,
being light truck I could notice a huge difference straight away the drove, less body roll kinda felt a little harder and not as Bouncy kinda felt like when I got a lift kit in my old car, not a huge increase in size but it’s about 1inch and a half bigger if I sit old tires next to it,
rear wheel cover doesn’t fit tried to deflate etc but this tire must be one of the slightly bigger ones out there
