  • I spotted a white 120 at about 7 last night on Eatons Crossing Road. They turned before I could get close enough for a pic.

It had a pp sticker, steel rear bar/wheel carrier and a bunch of other stuff I don't remember.

          • Well it doesn't happen often for us WA PP members - but after 2 years West coast highway, City Beach spotted nice looking Grey Prado 150 Kakadu, snorkel etc WA black plate "XXX 150", turning off road with PP sticker on back window, so gave a toot and wave when went by-waved back

We had a convoy, in front another 150 and 120 ahead no stickers ......

            • Currently working up in Moranbah Qld at the moment and I'm in Prado heaven!!! Apart from the obvious mine spec Prado's up here being a mining town, there are so many Prado's it's amazing, just no PP stickers.... My poor neck is getting sore from looking for them though.
There are some very nicely kitted out 120's and 150's up here and not surprising with the amount of cash that's earned up here!!!

Maybe we should carry a wad of PP stickers with us - find a nice kitted Prado and go up to them and "reward" them into the PP club with a sticker......

This model works when all members are paid type and there is limited access for unpaid members. Advertising (the method suggested) causes even more members and then increased buying power and even political influence etc. That said, I gave up on this thought many years ago after realising most just want free advice and find parting with the equivalent of 2 packs of cigarettes a year a deal breaker. Makes me wonder how they could afford a Prado in the first place.

                    • FFS I'm not buying wazclean's PP stickers @ $2.50 each and giving them away- they can get their own, after buying at $70k car and also spending $10k at ARB

                      • Business cards are pretty cheap. One of those tucked under the wiper blade inviting them to join in would be the go. Double side it with a plug for our corporate sponsors such as ARB and Maxtrax and Offroad Supplies, etc. Maybe they could collectively pitch in and pay for the cards?

Not sure if this counts as a spot. I was in the Doctors surgery and was leafing through a 4wd trader magazine. I think this is Kakadaz's car.

I did that back in 2007 for a year or so till my stash of stickers ran out. Then when Wengnuts left PP he gave me his left overs and did it again.
