  • Happy Crash Repair experiences

    Hi all,
I decided to start this thread because I thought it fitted alongside, but not in, the "Good Service/Dealers" thread and might be useful to some. A lot of searching produced no similar threads. Mods if you decide it belongs elsewhere that's fine too.

I recently (June '09) had the experience of having my right rear wheel-arch, mudflap and rear bumper severely damaged while the Prado was unattended in a car park. Did the usual things with police reports and insurance claims. Cutting a long story short, the vehicle finished up with Christies Beach Crash Repairs at 115 Dyson Rd Christies Beach. Dean and his team there are terrific - good quality work, good customer relations, good communications, timely response. It was a big relief to get the vehicle back, in as new condition, on time and no hassles.

More recently another PP member here in Adelaide had a sad tale involving the front end of his vehicle. He too finished up at CBCR and has told me that he had similarly good experiences - however I'll leave it to him to expand on that story if he chooses to do so.

It would be great if others related their good experiences with crash repairers too - after all, the risk of body damage is high but it tends to happen to most of us rarely, so we have little or no idea of the quality of the various repairers available to us. Choosing a repairer is often a gamble but we can make it a little easier by noting good experiences on the forum.

    Regards to all
    Jeff
