I drove from Geelong to Paynesville (about an hour past Sale) and returned within 26 hours (for work) the other week and it was shit boring, I'm hoping that the Simo with some funny PPers is much more exciting than that! The bonus is that I'd be driving the Prado and not my old Isuzu box truck, way more comfortable!
Good call AJ120.. Unless while at Sale you managed to hitch a ride with RAAF Roulettes (their home base), now that would be a trip to Warnambool worth remembering and damn quick!

Just wait, I will explain to any one that asks, only in person after a few cans how I came to that example, u will fall off your chair!!!Originally posted by AJ120 View PostWell thats less than helpful, I have been to Warnambool but I had to look up Sale on the map. Across the Simmo is pretty much a straight line, if you drive a straight line between Warnambool and sale you are gunna need a F&*%IN long snorkel
Cheers Andrew

Can hardly wait! Is it like the Wombat night run, when you were standing at my window talking to me and a second later you stepped back into a puddle... See I found that pretty funny, maybe you didn't find it as funny.. Still makes me laugh though! Look forward to some JD cans and your explanation!Originally posted by Anth120playdo View PostJust wait, I will explain to any one that asks, only in person after a few cans how I came to that example, u will fall off your chair!!!150 with stuff bolted on!

Hi Guys,
At this stage, I am planning to go with my Tvan, but still waiting on my Father as he is still rebuilding his MB G300.
Will confirm by late May

You can buy the desert parks pass online, they take about 2 weeks to process and they send you a great book about the area and westprint maps along with the permit.
