Hey AMTS, tell me about the improvements in mounting the tyre mounted garbage bags. I've got nylon spacers atm, and I have to loosen the tyre to get my BlackWidow tyre bag installed, so you might make a sale

It would also be fantastic if it had the ability to add a light mount. Either way put me down for one. I'll send an email to your gmail account as well.

        This could be very interesting!!!

If there were 2 holes in the right hand side (sort of the closest edge in your picture), then you could put some bolts through to a metal post to attach a light at the top...

+1 for a light mounting option. Then I would order one for my 150.

          Cheers

Holes are easy. I will add them and update the pic. They will take M8 bolts if everyone is happy with that.

I've now added the 2 holes and went further and drew up an accessory pole. I've seen antennas hanging off the back of cars so I've added a square plate with a few holes. I'm thinking that the logical positioning of light and antenna is with the light in front of the antenna. Or is it better side-by-side which would increase the length of the plate...

In the centre of the plate is a hole for a cable from the light to pass into the tube. If the antenna is mounted in the rear position, then there would be a corresponding hole in the rear of the tube for the cable to go into the tube.

I'm looking at this cable grommet for cable protection.

Currently there are extra grommet holes at the top of the pole which can be deleted (depending on people's thoughts of cable routing). There is one grommet hole on the spacer bracket below the pole for cables exiting the pole to enter through the spacer bracket.

              All feedback gladly accepted.

That looks fantastic amts! How high would this sit above the tyre? I'd like to see it nice'n'low with a telescopic pole to raise and rotate when necessary (not asking for much hey?)

At this point in time, height is unknown as I'm just drawing it up so the fabricator can start to give me feedback on what they can produce.

From the current pole design, there's not much room to go up and down inside the pole but something can be done next to it.
My simplistic viewpoint was to have a light just above the tyre for setup but do realise that the glare from such a low height would bother people and therefore needs to be high. The design is still evolving

Just wondering how hard it would be for someone to access the bolts and steal the whole lot?

On the 120 there's a cover over one of the bolts that prevents you removing it without taking the spare off - perhaps you could make something similar?

Sorry Full Lock, just noticed you have a 120 - doesn't yours have the cover over the lower right bolt?

The pole is bolted to the spacer behind the wheel, so you would need to lock the wheel to the carrier to prevent access to the 2 bolts.
As for the top plate, something could be done to shield all the nuts holding the light and antenna.

                          Giddy Up!

Im definitely in for one of these with the light mount.

Ah yes. So it does. Anyway, food for thought for the design :-)

Craig, I'm working on your telescopic and swivel problem but my bigger issue is cable management when the pole is extended and keeping the cable off the paintwork when retracted.
