ITEM: Gearbox - Manual 6 speed Prado 150 gearbox, no transfer box or ancillaries.
CONDITION / REASON FOR SELLING: This gearbox was replaced to avoid possible problems before a trip around Australia, because fast gear changes sometimes beat the 2nd to 3rd synchromesh resulting in a "click" of gears. The vehicle was my wife's daily driver, and she never noticed the issue, so perhaps I change gear more quickly? In any case we had our local Toyota dealer replace the 'box with a brand new unit "just in case". I believe it had around 130,000km on it, we have owned the vehicle since new and it was always serviced by either Toyota or our local garage. The old gearbox has been in a box since it was removed, but is now surplus to requirements. Obviously there is no warranty etc.
PRICE AND PRICE CONDITIONS: No real idea, so say $1000 based on a quick web search. Open to offers! Cash on collection.
