This 09/10 Prado is a prime example of how a well looked after Toyota can still be just like new if exceptionally cared for and maintained to a very high standard. You will not be disappointed.
I purchased this Prado as a temporary vehicle to acquire a house and be debt free for a while, now this has occurred, it is time to sell and get back into another 200 series which is on order. This Prado was purchased January 2016 from a Toyota Dealer in Sydney city with 199,000 kms - the condition and drivability of this Prado was seriously outstanding compared to others on the market with only 100,000-150,000kms and continues to surprise passengers when I tell them how many kms are on the clock! It now has completed an easy 230,000kms of highway driving and runs like a charm.
Since owning this for 12 months I have spent over $10,000 in basic and practical modifications for getting away every few months camping with the family, and I have undertaken many measures to ensure only very clean fuel ever enters the engine.
Extras (all still under warranty):
- BFG K02 Tyres (265/70/17) rotated every 10k (10 months old)
- ARB Deluxe Bullbar (10 months old)
- TJM 2" Lift XGS Gold very comfortable (10 months old)
- Safari Snorkel (10 months old)
- Rhino Platform Rack (10 months old)
- 9" 185w LED Spotlights (8 months old) & Narva wiring loom
- Water Watch alarm/monitoring system, be rest assured, the alarm has never gone off.
Maintenance:
- Fuel filters (front and rear) replaced every 10k
- Full service history books, and servicing completed by reputable workshops/toyota dealers, including it's latest 230k service last week.
- Responsive Engineering Diesel Fuel Lubricant ran with every tank
- Injectors checked every 10k (readings are spot on)
- No money owing on this vehicle
