Well as most of us know the prado 90 series is clearly an all wheel drive
Thats all fine but on a frazer trip i did an experiment
I drove in 4x4 in 4H ,it drove ok as was expected both in soft sand at high tides and internal trails.
But to my surprise the vehicle drove perfectly well if not better / perhaps lighter,, driving it for half the time on the island in standard drive. (meaning without the use of 4x4 gearing) That is the all wheel drive mode...
My question is what is the difference between the ''all wheel drive'' and the'' 4h 4x4 gear'' ?.
The 4L expains itself .
