i have been lacking top end power since i bought the car second hand just over 12 months ago,
i have
air filter is clean
intake to turbo cleaned
turbo to intercooler cleaned
intercooler cleaned
throttle body cleaned
intake manifold cleaned
egr cleaned
exhaust inspected
map sensor checked and tried 3 different sensors
turbo waste gate actuator replaced
put the car on the dyno and found its only producing 53 killer wasps not near the 96 kw from factory.
physical pressure gauge on the turbo pressure reads 8-10 psi
following http://www.pradopoint.com.au/showthr...n-M-OBD-Prados instructions
i loaded up the program and was getting a peak boost of 9.4in/hg (4.66 psi) and average of 6.5in/hg (3.2psi) specs for 1kz-te is 7.4 - 9.7 psi @ 4600rpm
so has anyone else had issues with the ecu not calculating the signal from the map sensor correctly ?
and is toyota capable of resetting the ecu to see if it fixes the problem ???
so close to having a prado bonfire its not funny. i just want the basic power level to where it should be.
