Continued from Part 1

After a very long "chicken track" via Mt Klondyke Rd we got back onto Aeroplane Track (just beyond where we'd been defeated) and despite a few tricky spots, it was much easier

and scenic

Aeroplane Track

Having (almost) conquered Aeroplane Track we wound our way around Klondyke Rd and Marginal Rd in high range to get to Kalatha Creek Tk and Campsite Tk, which starts immediately with a river crossing

The crossing was shallow and the base firm but on the other side immediately after the exit there was a challenging steep, rutted section.

I expected to struggle here but I was impressed with the traction control on the 150 that let me just walk up this without a problem

A quick stop at the suspension bridge across the Murrundindi River

and one more short detour up Camp Creek Road before heading home along Murrundindi Road

Thanks for a great day out Anders and Dylan and thanks also for taking some great action photos for me
