Snorkel and drawers done next dual battery

Got my snorkel done at TJM Geebung on Wednesday. Is there any safe way to test that my setup is now water proof? I have read sometimes the air filter box itself is not waterproof and water can get in even with a snorkel?

Also got my homemade drawers carpeted and put in during the week. I can't claim credit, they were done by a retired builder friend.

Next week I am getting a dual battery system put in and my onboard compressor. She is pretty much ready to tour then.

I read somewhere that a good way to check its water tight is to hold a single piece of paper up to the air intake and it should hold the piece of paper there. Sounded logical to me!

Now the dual battery and compressor are done as well. I got the work done at Sandgate Auto Electrical. Todd was the guy I dealt with. Seemed very professional. I don't think they were cheap but he seemed to know what he was doing and was happy to explain everything to me.

Those drawers looks good. Do you have plans that you can share? Could you also supply info like materials/specs used? Cost and maybe even where you bought the stuff used? I want to start a similar project.

There is a thread on DIY rear drawers but I can't seem to find it. It may turn up or someone else may be able to find it.
