JUST LOOKING AT THE LAST PIC THERE WITH THE LIFE HAMMER...
HOW D YOU GET AT IT IF YOU ARE IN TROUBLE.??
WOULDN'T IT BE MORE PRACTICLE ON INSIDE OF RIG??
MY 2 CENTS
JOEY
Im sure its only there for anyone (ie; small child) who gets locked in the rear of the vehicle and cannot get out. I know the Prado has an internal door release but they put them there as a legal requirement. Im sure I could remove it but, just havent got around to it yet.
And its not taking up much room!!
I have heard its illegal to have children/passengers in the 3rd row with a Cargo barrier On, alternatively if using the 3rd row with barrier, length should be 900mm between passenger in sitting down position and barrier.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Dustie

Thanks for the detailed write-up Joey. The Milford fitting instructions are very detailed and with the correct tools the install can be done with no problems. Once I get back from Fraser and get the fitting kit I'll be into it.
I have copies of the full sized and half height Milford barrier fitting instructions for 90 series (abobe format) if anyone requires them feel free to pm me.
