Will pick one up for myself later today and post up some pics. Catalogues here.
I was tempted some time ago when they were on special last time but after doing the maths, it was virtually the same price as the Tigerz11 12000lb at $845.
Once you add up the offset hawse, the recovery kit, isolator switch, frree delivery and the wireless remote that is included with the Tigerz11, it seems a safer bet (especially as they appear to be the same winch!)

Thanks 1cb. I can see why that made sense to you.
I was under the impression the offset Hawse was not needed if you drill holes?
I have most of the recovery gear already so that is not an issue.
I also intended to isolate the control circuit (via dash switch) rather than the +ve feed, so that will save a heap there too.
If that is all feasible then I think the SC is still a top deal for me?

I don't think that works with a Hawse as the body of the winch behind the bar prevents you fitting nuts. It does work with a roller fairlead as you drill new holes in the fairlead itself to line up with the winch mounting bolts.

          Yeah, makes sense
Everybody circumstances are a little different.
Ive done the same with the solenoid isolator on the dash.
Dont know if you can drills holes though, cant do it on my setup with the Avenger and ARB bar as the winch chassis is in the way.

                Thanks 1cb.
I'm planning on getting the ARB bar to hold it too.

Here is a pic of the Maxtrax as promised:

They are indeed MKII for $265 as the Model number confirms:

Champion, will call into their store this arvo on my way home, hopefully they still have some. I actually rang the manufacturer this morning and the 4 holes one each corner are the first indication of them been the new ones, they are for locking them down on roof racks apparantly..they have made other changes to them as well not sure what they are ?? but thats cool....Cheers thanks heaps for that. Regards Steve

Revisiting this again as there is another difference- WARRANTY.
The SCA one only has a 1 year, but the Tigerz has a 5 year Conditional one.
The Tigerz11 12000lb single speed winch will carry a 5 year warranty against faulty parts and workmanship
                          Conditions of this warranty include.
The winch must be serviced at least once every 12 months by a Tigerz11 Installer.
Anyone know what a service costs?
