anyone got any tips for making it easier to connect up the blinkers and also the fogs? seems i have to remove both batteries to get up in behind them to get to the correct wires then work out which ones they all are
this bar came with IPF spotties and IPF fogs. how can i work out what model spotties they are?--> Macarthur District 4WD Club Member <--

Well are thry round or recangular? Round will be 900s and rectangular will be 800s. If they say extreme sport on top then they are the XS series (ie 900XS and 800XS) otherwise they are more the standard style (ie 900 and 800). If there is a ballast hidden away inside the bar then they are the HID type. The 900XS seem to be the most common of the IPF range altough there are others as well.
The following link will give you some more info

I can confirm that you can remove the headlight to get to the wiring, like I said, just four screws.
I had to take mine off on the drivers side as the side light wasn't working. While I was in there I swapped the two sidelight units over so the side light is on the outside and the indicator is on the inside. I didn't fit the lights when I put the bar on, my helper did that - when I took them off they are clearly marked L and R so I don't know why he got them the wrong way round.

BTW, I spent part of today removing the sub plates, turning my blinker/parkers around the right way after they were fitted upside down (so the drain is at the bottom and the parker is on the outside) and disecting the fogs.
What a crap job just to get to the globes, lousy design!
In case anybody gives a toss, the ARB branded fog light globes are an H3.
Will be getting some LED globes for blinker and parker so the next time one blows Ill replace the lot.Last edited by 1coolbanana; 12-06-2011, 09:19 PM.Marc, 2003 Grande V6, Just a Bit of Stuff Done..........Work in progress.
