Two new covers arrive today! They are exactly the same as the others!
Going to ring ARB direct tomorrow as this is getting ridiculus. The only thing I can think of is that the chassis rail brackets are wrong and are not low enough.
Still plodding on.....2005 GXL With most of the fruit!

On the inside still don't fit.
I am going to take lots of photos and send them off to see if someone can work out what I have done wrong.

I have taken some photos in the hope that someone will spot what I have done wrong and help me fix the problem.
This is the problem. The end cover plates sits too low and will not bolt up to the chassis bracket
As you can see there is about a 30mm gap.
The postion of the chassis bracket is goverend by the bottom bolt shown here.
There is already a hole in the chassis for this bolt and it cannot be adjusted.
If anyone has this bar the measurement i need is from the bottom of the body mount to the bottom of the bracket.
This is around 63mm. If anyone has theirs apart this would be a big help!
Cheers Bryce2005 GXL With most of the fruit!

Will be able to tell you in about a week or so, but that doesnt help now does it... ops:
I just ordered my bar this morning, should be here in a week or so
Now after all the problems you're having i am considering getting ARB to fit for me... At least my local ARB shop is less than 500 meters from my front door, so getting some advice is not going to be as hard as its been for you Bryce.
Hope it all resolves it self soon.

All looks ok with the brackets, can you wider shot of pic 1? one that shows the whole plate/bar up to the headlight.[I]1KZ-TE Turbo Diesel, 5 speed manual, 3.5 inch lift, 265/70/17 Mickey Thompson MTZ, D-Tronic chip, Boost controller, mandrel exhaust, dump pipe, modified intake, ARB steel bar, Magnum winch, Safari snorkel, rear drawers, half cargo barrier, dual batteries, Uniden UHF, Sat Nav, reverse camera, Magellan XL , Tjm bash plates, ARB alloy roof rack, rear telescopic work light and numerous other modifications!!!

Drew, it is a hazard thats for sure...
I just have to keep reminding my wife that its all for our safety and i will put what i spend on the car back into the house.
Apparently i have just under 12mths to complete renovations to the house.
Oh well, at least if she lets me spend the money now it will be over and done with for the most part... Maybe :twisted:2003 V6 GXL, Mickey Thompson MTZ's, Safari Snorkel, ARB Winch Bar, OME Suspension 2" lift, GME TX3420

Looks ok, my gap is 23mm or there abouts. I'll take some pictures if you like and post tomorrow.
