ECB Alloy Bullbar

Hi, I've got an ECB Alloy bull-bar on my Prado Grande, the bull-bar comes fitted with fog-lights. My problem is that one of the fog-light lightweight (tin/steel) mounting brackets has broken, so I contacted ECB asking for a replacement bracket or information on the light so I could contact the supplier. I got a response quoting me for a new bar - obviously they didn't properly read my email, so I emailed them again reiterating my issue - so far no response. Can anyone on here help out with information on the brand of light used by ECB as fog-lights? I'm currently on holidays and don't have the tools with me to make a new bracket which I will do when I get home. Preferably though I would like a genuine replacement part.

I have had the lens fall out of one of my fog lights on my ecb bar I rang them and they said they sell a pair for around $60. I was going to try and get something a bit better to fit in there but it is one of many things to do on the list.

I must be lucky, on mine the bracket simply broke and my light fell down behind the bar. The light seems fine all I need is a new bracket and every thing will be back to normal. So far though, it looks like ECB don't "do" any service items for their bar. While on my trip, the local dealer in Alice Springs called them and quoted me $95 for a replacement set of the fog-lights. As I said earlier I've now twice emailed ECB without result. I would have thought that they could at least tell me the manufacturer of the fog-lights, obviously they must have kits to fit the lights on their bars, so why can't they supply parts??

Well its just over a week since my last email to ECB and still no response, I know they are probably busy but considering they couldn't even correctly read the the contents of my original email accurately I guess that should have been an omen that because I already have a bar that they no longer have any interest in me. Just thought I'd post this as a tip to ECB customer service for anyone thinking of an ECB bar.

Opened my emails tonight and I've received a reply from ECB, they mentioned that they had misunderstood my original email and not realised that it was just a foglight bracket that I required. To ECB's credit they have said that they will send me a replacement bracket - this should be the end of my problem, with a bit of luck. This does demonstrate good customer service. Update: I did receive the required part and it was provided it free of charge - Thanks ECB and this forum
