  • Prado 4.0 Safari Snorkle help

I have a few questions for any of you with experience on the safari snorkel for the newer prado. I actually reside in the states and own an 05 tacoma which shares quite a bit with the prado. After numerous calls and e-mails I have not found the info I need. I want to see if there is a way to fit a prado model snorkel to a tacoma. What I need are dimensions if anyone can help. I would like to know the angle of the windshield where it meets the fender/hood as well as the general shape of the fender. I would appreciate pictures underhood and outside that would give me a better idea as well as dimensions. Thanks in advance and this is a great site, just wish some of the vehicles you can get were available here.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Sorry I forgot to mention that the tacoma I have is the newest body style 05+ which is a great departure from the earlier model. Thanks bunsen that helps a little and shows that the intake is in about the same place. Anyone have any pictures of an actual installation underhood and mid installation of the hole in the fender?

            Mikey,

Try giving Buddy a call at ARBUSA 1(425)264-1391. He can tell you if they are in the US and who has them in stock.

Or try http://www.4by4connection.com/toyota2.html If you want to call them (1(888)805-0810) you can talk to Curtis and he can set you up.
