hi all had my SBi12 insulator fitted for awhile now but just recently noticed my batttey deep cycle new doent seems to get enough charge on start up the main battery charges 14.8+ volt when the solenoid switches over the most it put out is 12.8volt and that running it for an hour so when i check the main still getting the 14.8volts now can any one shed some light on this or do i switch to a differnt system had these type of systems on my truck and no problems keeping it basic had them for years on other 4bs so what wrong any help ---andy

If everything was ok before then I'd check all the connections. Something may have come loose.

How far from the main batery to the REDARC and from the REDARC to the Auxillary. Also what guage wire are you using. You should take measurements of voltage at either side of the REDARC and at both batteries and post these up.

At home now so measured mine. 13.6 at both batteries (both are fully charged)
