I contacted Tigerz11 in Melbourne today to ask about a price for their bar. The response was that they don't have a bar for the 120 yet and it will be the end of the financial year before they have one ready. Apparently it's in the design stage at the moment.

Um?? I was quoted on a 120 delux one a few months back in the Tigerz11 shop at Lawnton QLD? I now see it has disappeared from the Tigerz11 web site listing? Perhaps they need to find another supplier in China?

Pitty, I had myself set on one of these with a unique paint job, had the painter lined up and all

              ---------------------------------------

I jumped on the blower and rang Lawnton for a comment from them, you are correct they are designing their own bar to replace the old XXX copy. Seems they have been umming and arrring weather to make a 120 series bar (WTF) but it's now going to happen (apparently)?

The time line for this new bar was not specified, although the new financial year seems a long time to wait? The guy at Lawnton was not thinking we would have to wait 'that long'.

The issue for me now is that the new bar will be unproven. I like many others, will not be trusting of this 'new' design until it has had a few people run it through the ringer of our tortuous outback. As for being a tester, well, if they made it worth my while possibly? My 120 is my 'retirement spend' and I want the bar to last, or be garenteed to last

What this means is likely I'll have to go elsewhere

Ive also got a tigerz bar and 12000lb tigerz steel cable winch. i went to glasshouse recently and was bogged all day long in thick mud, or if i wasnt bogged my mates were. the winch and bar had a MASSIVE workout. I paid $399 for the bar brand new and $299 for the winch. Value for money you cant go wrong! your call, no doubt there are better products out there but this one works for me and you will sell your sovereign bar for most of that cost (thats what I did)!

Wait til the tigerz stuff comes on sale, its dirt cheap!

Well, after finding Tigerz11 didn't have any Deluxe bars for the 120 in stock, I got a phone call from Shane at Lawnton today. Seems after a monthly stock take one popped up and he got it shipped up for me. Seeing as they are on Special I lashed out and paid the $800 (deluxe bar normally $1000-00). Most other bars in this catagorie are all over $1500-00, so happy to have a go at this Tigerz bar. (crossed fingers)

I have a two tone paint job in mind, something a little different, colour coded lower and black bar/support work.

I wont be fitting the bar until I move to Brissy later this year, need to have my 'shed' to install it in, I'll post some photos once installed.

                    Steve

If anyone wants one of these hard to get 120 deluxe bars, Tigerz11 Lawnton has two in stock on the shelf (they did have three). For info.
