I’ve just ordered a new ARB deluxe bar, but I’ve been told that its doesn’t have any aerial mounts on the top bar, the aerial mounts on the outside the same as the sahara bars. I understand the aerial tabs cannot be put in the center section, as the grill will hit it when the bonnet is open, but surely the tabs could be put on the top bar over the head lights. Has anyone put the aftermarket brackets on, and if there is any problems with clearance with the bonnet. I will be doing a lot of off roading, and with the aerial mounted on the outside as soon as you hit any trees, the aerial will just hit the head light and crack the lens.

I've seen a few rigs on here with the tabs on the top hoops. Kevin's rig had them and I think Marc (1CoolBanana) runs a antennae on top, although he has a different type of mounting bracket.

I have a bracket that I bought from ARB on the loop above the headlight, works well and there is plenty of clearance when you open the bonnet. My Prado is in getting a service at the moment but I can take a photo for you when I pick it up if you like.Justin

That would be good, Thanx. I would like to take the Pic to ARB and show them and see if I can get them welded on. when their making it..
