Towing Mirrors recommendations

Hi all,

Heading away at Christmas again with the Camper Trailer (Jayco Eagle Outback). Althougth the standard Prado mirrors are a good size, they are not quite wide enough to see behind the trailer (unless going round a bend). I have a set of those really anoyoying plastic clip ons, that vibrate constantly.....useless.

I would like to get a good set.......any advice really appreciated.

I have been told that the 'Aussie Truck Mirrors' are the go, but I have read on a couple of forums that the standard bottom fitting / Clip will not work on the 120 Prado door sill. Does anyone have any knowledge of this and what I need to ask for......and / or somewhere I can buy them from. CAMEC in Sydney didn't stock them.

I got sick of the clip on mirrors vibrating and blowing around back on the door when a truck or bus went past in the opposit direction so I bought a set of the 'Aussie Truck Mirrors' on my trip to the MotoGP this year. End of problems and they fit up in seconds after the initial unpack and assembly.You just have to be carefull when you attache the bottom bracket, you must make sure it sits around the bottom of the metal door edge and not just around the bottom of the doors plastic trim

Standard suits doors with narrow bottom door edge
Wide suits doors with a wider squarer bottom door edge

Which one do I want?

JUST BEEN DOWN STAIRS TO MEASURE BRACKET AND IT IS 10MM BETWEEN THE RUBBER STRIPS ATTACHED TO THE BRACKET ( THE BRACKET IS ALMOST A U SHAPE
