Howdy crew,
Long time reader, first time poster. BTW, great site with good info and an easy to use construction.
I did a quick search before posting this, but no results to help me. I have just finished rotating the tyres ((pat my back) (2003 TD auto)). Using the factory indicated location, the factory jack did not have enough height to lift the front tyre off the ground. It's standard suspension. Then, to top the whole enjoyable time off, the jack then decided that it didn't want to retract properly.
My query is this - has anyone else experienced this situation with the insufficient lift height? I would like to know it's just not me before I launch into a happy New Year rant to Toyota about supplying a piece of inappropriate gear. How hard can it really be?
Anyway, I'm off to buy a real jack that will work when I need it to. Safe and prosperous New Year to you all.
Regards
Andrew aka Seamus
