ARB delux winch bar, winch mount

Looking at fitting a winch in our ARB winch bar and everything I read says to mount the winch to a point of minimum 10mm thickness. The mounting point on our bar doesn't seem to be thick enough. Am I missing something?

That's where I put mine, on the supplied metal bracing, hasn't moved a millimetre.

Thanks for that. Just wanted to check before I fitted a winch and then proceded to F it all up.

Try to have someone assist, I did it by myself and managed to get the bolt lengths mixed up (working one handed, lying down and reaching up to fit ther bolts whilst holding the weight) and proceeded to crack one endshield trying to crank tension on the bolt. Wasn't a happy little vegemite at having to take it out again by myself, although what I learnt then helped heaps on the next (sucessfull) install.

If I can't talk the wife into giving a bit of assistance (with the winch install) I might have to give Smithy or one of our mates a ring, when I finally get around to doing this
