Side Rail and Step

As promised some time ago, here are the photos I said I would post.

As I said before, these are custom made by Rally Motors in Geelong and cost me $1,500.

I've been looking at a few options too.

The ATS option

Powerful 4x4 will have a Prado 120 option available soon (about 2 weeks), waiting for some photo's to be sent through of them fitted to a test vehicle, can fit optional brush bars, deffinately the cheapest option, just not sure on the quality.

AVA - All Vehicle Accessories, bloke named Errold from the Sunshine Coast that supplies and fits them, can check them out on www.rocksliders.com.au


Amazing thing is that TJM and ARB don't make them because there isn't enough demand, given the 3 or more threads on PP, plus all the options in the market, I find it hard to believe.

Rally Motors in Geelong kept a template when they made my steps.

It shouldn't take them long to make another set.

Hi guys,with side air bags ,steel side steps should not be a problem as the side impact sensor[if my memory serves me right] is mounted under the center console.If you bash your side steps hard enough,you will need your airbags to deploy
