reverse light fuse???

hi guys im in need of a quick 1 does any 1 know where the reverse light fuse is on a 120 series 06 prado iv seemed to blow the fuse but cant find it under the hood or under the dash cheers in advance

I would say instrument panel box - no. 46 - 3rd down 3rd row. Manual says this is Tail: 10 A Tail lights, licence plate, parking lights.

All other tail lights work even changed the fuse still no good :/

Try IG1 NO.2 fuse under the dash.

Fuse is good but has no power same at tail fuse

Yes my fuse blew for ignition 2, this will mean no indicators or reverse lights. However if your tail lights dont work it is something else. Look for a broken earth connection maybe?

Ok guy got another 1 whats the best way to link the light so it activates when selecting reverse

Splice the reverse light wire and solder a new wire onto this and then run it to where you need in the vehicle. Have a look here on page 9 of my build, I have a DIY where this light wire is located to access it easily.

Have a look at post #131 about half way down the page.

All good it had me stumped too when I blew the same fuse, took me a while to check them all and figure it out.

Here is a simple diagram for a reverse light circuit run off the reverse lights i did up for a mate of mine.
