  • ARB winch bar

    Hi People'
would someone please tell me how to mount a roo systems winch to a ARB deluxe winch bar! does it mount directly to the bull bar or do I need to purchase a winch cradle that fits between the bar and chassis rails? I have heard a couple of different stories and am totally confused,
    Thankyou....

It bolts straight to the bar. You normally remove the bar fit the winch to it then refit the bar. You need a cradle for an alloy or non winch bar. Here's a thread that might help

If you drop the bottom bash plate and have another person, you can lift the winch into position from underneath. You'll most likely need to rotate the end so the free spool handle faces up.

Its the aluminium guide that the winch rope goes through on the bar. The ARB bar needs one that's off centre (lower) so the rope fits through without rubbbing more than necessary. The Domin8R comes with a normal centered one.

Tigers sell them, so do most 4WD shops
