Yeah that's the one. I was recluctant to use pliers as there was nothing wrong with the fuse and I didn't want to destroy it. It wouldn't move at all so I didn't know if it was screwed in but it is was there was no way to crack open the older as it is fully moulded.

Might have a look with pliers over the next few nights but as I said I didn't want to crack the fuse casing or damage the fuse to the point where I had to buy another just for thew sake of cursoity. Better to find out at home instead of out bush and finding I am missing something critical.

        Fantastic! Thanks Chuck.

I also only use the pliers when my fingers won't get to where they need to reach. With that one, I can get a good grip with my fingers, so I don't need the pliers. I just tested removing mine, and whilst it was quite tight, a tiny amount of back-and-forth levering and steady lifting at the same time, saw it come free. Nothing broken, phew!

This has been a good discussion for me. Chuck helped me find the fuse-tool, and although I carry all sorts of spare fuses, I don't have a spare one of these. I'll be adding that to my spares inventory soon. Now, what was that you were saying about pathetic questions .

        Cheers,
        LFaR.

          G,day pradogxlv6
Did you check the hose kit box for the air fitting, as from memory I think mine was packaged with the hose
          and other accessories.
P.S. mounted my CKMA12 into our 2003 GXL V6, on drivers side of engine bay on wheel arch between ABS system and air intake tube.
The compressor is running parallel with chassis eg. (front to back). The ARB air filter is just clear of the Prado intake tube and the motor clears the ABS
pump block. I used four rubber mounting bolts which where basically 6mm threads bonded to a 15mm x 15mm diameter rubber block,
These have two advantages, 1. raised the height of the unit to level it on the wheel arch, and 2.isolates the vehicle from noise and vibration.
Hope this might have given you and others another option as I found it a solution to my left hand side engine bay being filled with an ARB battery craddle
          and Exide Extreem deep cycle.
          Cheers from Troy.

Re: Install of ARB On-Board Air Compressor CKMA12

Just finished installing my compressor with lots of help from these destructions, but I did not have a "t-piece" supplied and I don't think I was supposed to. As I am only using it for tyres at the moment is this the best place to run the hose from?
Or could i use one of the other ports that I assume are for lockers.
Where is the best place to get a "t-piece" from? Repco, Bursons??

            Cheers Strahan

I wish I had taken a photo of what was supplied in each box. From the pic of the compressor on the ARB website, it appears there is no T-piece supplied with the compressor. So I guess that must have been in the air-hose kit.

I haven't found a pic of what's inside the box containing the air-hose.

All sorted. Went to local hose place and got t piece and ryco fitting.
I mounted the compressor on the drivers side between the intake hose and the abs block. Fits a treat and did not have to move anything

Not to criticise your mounting of the compressor.
But here is my assembly metod, just to show it also can be done, with another On Board AIr kit from ViAir

Nice job there Lundberg. My only concern with mounting the compressor there is water on/in the unit
