I can vouch for the Magnum, good bit of kit for the money. I've had mine more than 12 months, I had it put on for a trip to Tas last year.

It's got a slower line speed than the higher spec Warns which doesn't bother me (its not a comp truck).
ARB stock all spares.

Can't remember the price I paid but from memory around $1K.

Around a grand (if not a smidge under) plus fitting.

Plasma rope replacement was about 400 bucks. I remember a recent post from someone who bought synthetic rope from Nobles at a good price.

Dunno where they're made, Matt

But everything I read on the web about it suggests that it is a superceded Warn - if that was true, they'd be made in the USA.

However, I would suspect that making them in China would allow them to be sold for half the price of a Warn.

Regardless, the one attraction is that you should be able to get parts for them from any ARB store around the country.

The Ballarat Toyota dealer is selling the 9500 Ironman winch for $640. They must have got a cheap job lot as they have many in stock.

I have bought one, but havn't had to use it in anger yet.
