Tracklander flat rack - measurements between the fitting brackets

Hey all,

I've scored a new tracklander flat rack on clearance - Only problem was it didn't come with fitting instructions.
Not a worry, it wasn't hard to figure out which way brackets go etc and verified with a PPers worklog (only I didn't take note of their name sorry!).

The only issue im now having is lining up the bolt holes between the bracket that mounts to the roof and the brackets that mount to the rack itself. I can either have the mount at the front and middle line up OR I can have the rear and middle line up.

I figured I just need to get the measures of the position of each channel nut exactly correct however I'm going around in circles (change position of a bracket and another bracket goes out of wack.

I saw in the PPers worklog they mentioned the instructions advised the distance between each bracket relative to the channel its in.
Would anyone happen to have these measurements please?

Its the flat rack variant on a 2007 GXL if that makes any difference.

There should be adapter brackets which join the feet to the rack. If you've got the right adapters, just attach them to the feet, then put the rack on top. It should be evident which rails the adapter brackets fix in to. My build has some info on mounting the rack. Maybe try contacting Tracklander/Jaram/TJM if you need a new set of adapters.

Cheers for the reply Mike. I was able to do as you suggested however the problem was that the adapter bolt holes for the front set would be about 5mm out from the bolt holes for the feet, and vice versa for the rear set.

I ended up just drilling out the bolt holes a littler bigger. From what I could see, the rack fits securely, level and even.
