Want to dismantle complete center console How?

Hi I would like to find out how to remove center console looking to fit Compact size uhf below ash tray.Ive had no luck searching youtube

I have just completely removed mine for about the millionth time I reckon, very easy job.

Not sure how far apart you want to dismantle it but start with the silver trims on each side, I just lever them up with a plastic spatula and they pull out.

The panel around the gear sticks is also just pulled out, take the gear knobs off and just pull it up, make sure the hand brake is on and there are some wires to unplug before completely removing it.

if you want to remove the whole thing, lift the rubber mat in the bottom of the console out to reveal a couple of bolts, there are a couple of others mid way along that will allow it to come in half. A couple more bolts underneath the first of the silver trims you removed will allow the front half to be removed.

I think all the other panels and pieces just pull out, once you remove the first panel you will see how the clips work, they are pretty robust and I have never broken one.
