T-Max 9000lb Winch

Hi all,

Had a search on the site and could not find anything about T-max winches. I am looking at getting a T-max 9000lb winch, but was looking for some feed back on how you should decide what size winch should be fitted to a certain 4WD, Eg 120 Series Prado.

g'day Yammysj,
i have heard good reports on the t-max. carmmy just fitted a 10000 lb after doing extensive reaserch on what is suited for 120 series..

if you check 4x4 monthly and search the site you will find a comparison with the major winches and t-max at the top

I have a 10000lb Tmax with synthetic rope, the winch quality seems as good as the warns that I have used in the past, plenty of power, I changed the solenoids for the more compact Titan HD competion water proof solenoids that I have mounted inside the bullbar.

Thanks for the replys, the t-max seem good value for money, will probably end up purchasing one.
