Well curently trying to source a cradle and might look at getting a Runva xp11 later to fit. It'd be great if someone posted some install pics?
Also the main reason why I still haven't done this is i've put in 2" OME lift with medium springs....sounds like I'd probably need to upgrade them? Can anyone tell me how much their suspension sagged after installing one of these?

I have that centre bolt which secures the bullbar deeper into the chassis, rather than just being bolted at the front face. This center bolt is in the instructions of the new fitting kit.

Thanks TBPrado,
This is exactly what I am looking at doing. One question for you, with the additional 50-60kgs did you measure the amount the front springs have sagged after the install?

Hi pjorek
When suspension was first installed it was about 798mm ish. The struts have probably settled a few mm over the 10,000km odd k's since install. So possibly 5mm with winch install. The front now sits at 790mm which is pretty much what others are getting with similar suspension setup and accessories.
I posted some side on photos in my build up thread if you want to have a look. Otherwise get someone that weighs 50kg or so to sit on your bulbar and you'll see how your setup will react to the extra weight.

Felt like a bit of a knob today, phoned the Toyota dealer earlier in the week after ordering my cradle and reading about the sovereign bar recall, gave them my VIN off my 2004 prado, they said the tow bar needed to be done, i heard bull bar, they said the would inspect and not neccessaraly replace as there were 4 stages to the recall???? had the shits on so went in today still thinking bull bar and after a 5 minute convo she saying tow bar me saying bull bar. i realized wtf was going on. asked the straight out if there was any recalls on my prado for the front bar and they said that they had never heard or done one????
walked away still confused with my car booked in for the tow bar inspection tomorrow.
was the bar recall only on certain models/years??? WTF is going on. is there a part number for the recall kit?? do i need to contact another dealer and ask the question??

It wasn't a recall but a Customer Service Exercise. Recalls is a term used for safety related issues.
Does your bullbar bracket look like the one here http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...l=1#post476438
