I am thinking of buying one of these that have been newly listed on fleabay

Has anyone had any experience with these?

As I have said elsewhere, the wife is very sensitive to the sun.

Not recently but I use to have one on a 60 series. It was fitted when I bought it. I wasn't to impressed as it dulled up pretty quick and at speed tended to wobby around, a bit like having your own rolf harris on the top of your windscreen

I think it tended to direct more wind onto the windscreen and hence more bug splat.

The only reason I left in on was that it would have left screw holes in the pillar where it had been attached.

Another option is to get the top of the windscreen tinted or go and buy the tinting strip from autocheap and do it yourself.

That's my 2.5c some people like them

Looks like a visor with a spoiler at the back for better air flow over the roof :shock:

I concur, it's very weird looking.

It don't look too strong, I can see it flapping around in the wind.
