I payed $345 Trade for 1... could have done better with a bulk purchase but I bought it spur of the moment.

To be honest, $345 is still too much, it seems a well made unit, but around $150-200 would be more realistic.

For me however it solves one more storage problem, plus I claim it on my business.

I was thinking of getting one fitted as well but it won't fit with LPG tank in the rear...

Installed tank today. It takes about 3/4 of an hour to do (I had to move the trailer plug wiring)

          Here's what you get:

          [/img][img]

          Mounting brackets:

          [/img][img]

1/2 inch tap, 1/4 turn for on/off. Found on later testing that it "spreads" the water a bit too much for my liking... I added a 1/2 inch hose tail to it that made all the difference.

          [/img][img]

Here's the only modification you have to do, this small piece needs to be cut out of the bumper (under the black trim so no one will ever know) I used a hacksaw blade.

          [/img][img]

The fill point ends up under the little cover in the trim under the door. With the plug in the cover still fits (for that stealth fit!!)

          [/img][img]

Here's the tank as installed, it tucks up nicely and does not effect departure angle. I tested it and as stated it holds 21lts exactly. It's a bit slow to fill from the filler, but with the hose on the tap it fills in half a minute.
Also the factory tow point stays in place, however I chose to leave it off.

Next plan is to install a water bladder in the rear 1/4 behind the trim, which is another 25lts. so 46 lts on board with no cargo space used up.

          [/img][img]

          [/img][img]

          [/img][img]

          [/img][img]

Yeah - that's why I'd rather do it before I build the drawers

That's why I prefer this setup: costs half as much and 60 liters of usable water

Made a small modification today. Using a long 8mm wide cable tie I made a dipstick to give some idea of how much water was left in the tank. The indented side of the tie holds water to show the tank level.

Just cut to length and glue into the lid. simple.

                        Hi all

We recently put one of these 21L tanks in.. On its first real use we found

                        1. it "spreads" the water a bit too much
                        - Will try the suggestion of a 1/2 inch hose tail

                        2. The flow of water is very poor - it starts on slow and almost stops -- opening the filler screw cap helps a little but its still very slow
                        - Any suggestions on this problem????

                        Thanks in advance

                        Cheers

Damonat, I'm in Newcastle and would be interested if we can get a decent price. I've been considering one of these tanks for a while now. Let me know how you go.

                                Some more testing on this...
                                - Pulled the tap back out and ensure there was no blockages.
                                - Still very slow water flow
                                - Undoing the filler cap helps - but removing it totally gives good flow.

So, i think the problem is something to with air or lack of it!

                                Any insights? Suggestions? Help?

                                Cheers
