  • Head Light Protector Fixing Points

Can anyone assit me by telling me how you affix the brackets that hold the plastic head light protectors/covers in place once you have fitted a bull bar. I have almost lost mine twice since I had the bull bar fitted as the bottom bracket used to clamp onto the bumper before the bull bar was fitted. I think because the bull bar is affixed to the chassis, the body moves around so much that it keeps knocking the bottom bracket off and thus the cover ends up almost flying off. The movement has also damaged the paint all around the area due to the movement. I tell you I am about to throw them to the proverbial house!

    Thanks

Ok I had those but took them back to supercheap after I discovered they would not fit correctly with the bullbar.
I think from memory Chippy has those and has secured them using cable tie's and they work fine (Discovered this after mine had gone back).

okay thanks Chuck, I knew they weren't right. I'll play around with them, if not they can go to land fill and I'll buy proper ones. Sometimes it's a case of false economy!!

Re: Head Light Protector Fixing Points

I have sorted them out, albeit I had to glue the brackets to the headlight (out of sight, so okay) and they now sit firm. I can still remove them to clean, so happy now.
