Hi All,

I am looking at buying a Drawer System for the rear of my D4D Wagon.

Has anyone had any experience with the ORS (Off Road Systems) Fridge Packs Setup?

I have had in the past the Outback System from 4WD Interior Products in Cairns.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Plenty of info in other threads if you do a search but some members have done some incredibly good home made installs.
I am not that versatile so had my Outback drawers fitted last month. Expensive but couldn't be happier.
My Prado spends most of it's time as a work vehicle so needed something that was going to last and would take a lot of continuous use.
I looked at the ORS but for me it came down to Outback or Black Widow.
Outback were slightly cheaper but when you look at how they are made and put together you can see where the money goes.

I had been following the thread on DIY drawers and given I am time poor (otherwise would have built myself) - and after lots of reading the thread, google searches, asking neighbours about their set up and seeing Off Road Systems (ORS) at the Illawarra Camping show, we settled on the ORS basic 2 drawer system - in aluminium. We looked at the Fridge Pack 1 - great value, however I would not have the fridge in the back all the time so we felt it was not the best use of space for our needs - we settled on a Platinium drop slide (when it arrives) - (we had the suspension raised 50mm so we would not be able to peer into the fridge unless we used a stool)

Graham at ORS has a setup that has a removable fridge housing - very interesting setup so you might speak with him about it. We had the 35 litre water tank and half cargo barrier installed as well - so far no rattles but have not been off road since we had it installed last Wednesday. To me the build quality is excellant and the drawers feel solid (I had double runners installed), Like most things time will tell, but so far one very satisfied customer.

I believe BigFella has the ORS system as a fridge pack. I found this by searching. Was not hard at all. In fact here is a picture of his setup
