Just a note on this, there are two auto temp codes, one will give you the torque converter.

This code gives you actual trans temp

Hilux ATF Temp 07E121D9 032180000000 1810 0003004DFE70

Edit, inlight of kimboprados post below I should specify that my car is a 2008 D4D auto

I did some research & there was sooooo many codes to try.
I chose to copy you,,This one worked for me

Cheers for that code Heath, glad I finally got round to doing this. Bit annoying that the degree celsius isn't a selectable character like the one used for the water temp.
