I can hear a hum coming from mine when sitting above about 90ish. It's not too bad, just turn up the tunes. Yeah and the Go Juice seem to dissapear faster but oh well.

      Nick,

Did you go for the Aero bars? I was in a bit of a hurry, when I put it all up, so I didn't put in the black plastic covers (with the millimeter ruler-like scale on them) on the underside of the bars... you know, the ones meant to be cut to length once the whole lot is up to cover the exposed groove. I picked up a high-pitch 'whistle' at around 90km/h+ too. However, a couple of days later I cut these to size and slipped them in, which seems to have made all the difference.

      Just a thought...!

I've got the Rhino Aero bars. I only get the whistle/hum when the tray is uptop and then it is only intermitent. I'm not overly fussedbut I will have a look at the end caps. I assume you mean the ones of the end of the Aero bars since you describe the ruler provided. I do sort of recall something in the destructions about this but probably moved on from there Approximatley how much do you cut off?

Re: Has anyone fitted a 1.5m x 1.0m Rhino Rack?

          Hi Nick,

Sorry, if I wasn't being clear... Not the end caps, as they just bang in.

There were four black 'strips of rubbery plastic', which have a ruler-like scale on them - 20cm long and about 1.5cm wide. The underside of the Aero bars has a groove on it, some of wich will be exposed, depending on the width of the tray you fit. The idea is to measure this exposed gap and then cut these strips to size and simply 'pop' them in. Kind of like that long rubber strip, which can be placed on the top groove along the Aero bars, if you don't use a tray - say, if you strap a surfboard or skis on the rails.

I hope that helps - if not, let me know and I'll snap a couple of pics. Made all the difference to me.

No worries Deeptank. I understand what you are refering t. I've just got gaps as I didn't insert those bits but I have positioned my roof mounted aerial mount into this space above the driver as you can see below:

When I get some time I'll have a squizz but I also do not have the rubber strips as you cant have these in and the tray, at least I could not find a way to do it unless I cut the hell out ofn the rubber.
