for anyone working out how much cargo they can carry, I contacted TJM to get the weight of the bar and fittings and was told about 65kg.

I just had a new T13 Outback bar installed to my 120 series.
Has anybody fitted their winch control box on the bar & taken out the plastic blanking plate to run the wiring?
I need one as mine "blew away" before I could put a dob of Sikaflex under it, as I predicted it might.
I am prepared to pay a fair price & of course postage.

I am very happy with the bar, having previously removed an Ironman bar within about an hour of it being fitted, it was dreadful!

                  Hi everyone,

I am tossing up between this and the ARB deluxe winch bar. Apparently the ARB bar does not come with any recovery points or has provision to fit any aftermarket points. Does anyone have any pics of this bar with fitted outback ideas recovery points as some have said they have done. Need this info quickly as I have to order the bar through insurance to replace my damaged sovereign bar .

                  Thanks

Yep - after our trip over the weekend to Robe, I am looking for a new bar to improve approach angles. I like the look of the TJM13, but won't fit one unless I can get recovery points on somewhere as I am not really looking at buying a winch.

How are the recovery points going? Any one got a TJM13 and hooks fitted that can post a picture?

                    Cheers
                    ian.

Based on the lack of response to the last post, i'm guessing there is still no recovery points suitable to fit with this bar???????????????????????

Hutch - TJM are telling me that the Outback Ideas points fit ok, but some posts in here indicate they need to be fitted backwards, which to me doesn't seem like a smart idea. Given their shape, i would envisage the strap rubbing over the rear end of the points (the part facing forward) unless you can fit a bit enough shackle to clear this. Hence, that is why I've followed up with this on PP, because the forum users are generally smarter than the shop guys

Kevin - in Adelaide I have been quoted $1450 for the bar and $300 to fit. I haven't asked for colour coding price yet, so your quote doesn't sound too bad? It certainly seems that price has gone up a lot since the end of last year! If any others from Adelaide have fitted the TJM 13, I'd be interested to hear what you paid??

                                Kevin,

I got quote $1255 from TJM at Coopers Plains. That was their price if you mentioned that you were a forum member. Installation was another $220 and I think they said colour coding was going to be around $400 for my paint (crystal pearl). Not sure if it's the same for all colours, cause they did say if i wanted it powder coated grey it'd be $250.

I saw at the Gold Coast 4x4 show the other week a deal at the TJM tent and from memory it was if you bought the bullbar you get a TJM awing free. Think that might have just been a show special, but with the national 4x4 show in Brissy in a couple of weeks I'm hoping they do something similar.
