AlenP, do you have the hooks installed? I'd be interested to see a pic of where and how you have mounted them, if you've got one!?!

Nozman - thanks for clearing this up. I wonder about their integrity when mounted backwards - but I guess they're better then factory points.

The T13 bar that I've got is equipped with a winch mount and the holes are already there so the hooks are just bolted straight in. I will do my photography thing first chance I get.

You mean hooks are bolted on the front of the bar where the winch mounts??

No, the hooks bolt underneath the winch mounting plate so they point straight down, the hooks I got were equipped with a keeper.

Just to bring this one back up. Have you got any photo/s of where you have attached the hooks? I was told that you should snatch off something that is directly attached to the bullbar as it may have an effect on the airbag deployment later should you be in an accident.

Still looking for a solution to get recovery points on with my T13.

Sorry guys,

forgot all about my promise Work has been occupying me 100% lately. I will do it ASAP but simply put there are predrilled holes under the T13 specificly for this purpose. The hooks were from "Outback" 6000Kgs with holding spring. I got mine from TJM store in O'cconnor (Perth). I will take a happy snap or two and load them up

That looks like the older T13 bar. The new version of the T13 bar doesn't seem to have anywhere underneath like that to simply bolt on recovery hooks. Why they wouldn't include some kind of solution on the new bar is puzzling especially seeing it was considered on the old version.

Sorry for dredging up an old post but.......

I am thinking of installing the recovery hooks onto the bar as well with the intention of only using them for double line recovery with the winch and not using them for snatching.

Have you actually used the recovery hooks on the bar and if so how did they go?
