I have a pair of these lockable tie downs, they have 2 steel cables within the strap so they can't be cut easily. Best of all they can be used to secure other stuff besides your maxtrax.

+1 I use them for my Hobbie Kayak, worth a lot more than a pair of maxtrax :shock: They are very good piece of mind.

It must be terrible living in areas with such high crime rates that you can't leave your gear unattended on the roof of your car for 5 minutes.

You are right bushbasher it is bad but i suppose thats the way it is here i hate it and would love to move somewhere safer but the wife wont go she wont leave her family so i suppose we just have to prevent it as best as we can

Hi all
We spotted this interesting looking set up parked in the Cairns Marina car park in August 2010.
I could not help but take a picture, if only with the phone.

Seems that the Maxtrax have had some use also.
I guess that the spare wheel had some where else to be.
