Nearly finished installation of a "Strongarm" rear bar and wheel carrier. It has not been without dramas, which I will list in a subsequent post.
Luckily I have an engineering workshop and have been able to make modifications easily.
It is a reasonably well made unit with very sturdy wheel carriers (on axle stubs with bearings), LED tail/brake & indicators, hi-lift jack sockets on each corner and tow points. I also have a light pole, jerry can holder and hi-lift jack bracket. The covers for the corners are fibreglass and are shaped quite well, but poorly painted and need trimming to fit properly.
This setup cost around $4k fitted
Here are the latest pictures - only things left to do are "adjust" and fit the corner covers and wire up the reversing / work light. Also need to get another wheel!
